❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Perhaps we've heard your question before. Here are some answers from the forest.
Where is Palu located?
Palúf is located on the sacred mountain of Majuy, in the Tenjo Forest Reserve, Cundinamarca. We are very close to Bogotá and also accessible from municipalities such as Tabio, Chía, and Cota. It is a natural and ancestral meeting point, connected to the earth and the paths of the heart, in a territory that honors ancestral medicines.
Can I visit without participating in ceremonies?
Yes. Palu is a space for community, rest, and expansion. The ceremonies are optional; your process is your own.
Are there vegetarian or special diet options?
Of course. Our cuisine is medicine. At Palúf, we care for your body and spirit through food. Our kitchen primarily offers vegetarian and vegan options, but we also offer traditional dishes, prepared with fresh, local ingredients and full of intention.
Can I bring children?
Yes, provided there is a responsible adult with a clear intention. Palu is also sacred childhood territory.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing warm clothing for the cold mountain nights (you won't need it inside the rooms), comfortable or hiking shoes for safe walking on the trails, and a good sleeping bag to protect yourself from the weather. You can also bring your thermos, notebook, musical instruments, or anything else that enhances your mindful experience in the village. If you'd like, you can ask us for a list of recommendations based on the season and your type of experience. But always bring: an open heart, respect, and presence.
